Toy Story Cake for Roan 8 th Birthday

This was the last cake I made before I went to Swiss. The cake was for Roan. He was very excited about this cake. And I gave Jessie and Woody the toys to go on top of the cake. Unfortunatelly the cake pic with the figurines still on my mobile. I will upload it when I have time. And before I leave home to go to airport on the same day, my friend Sudha called me about the cake, they love the cake :)

Mario Bros Cupcakes for Thomas and Jeffrey birthday

Mario Cupcakes ini buat anaknya mbak Judy, Thomas and Jeffrey yang ulang tahun hari ini. Kuenya pake Cookies and cream chocolate cupcakes. Di tutup dengan ganache terus di dekor pake fondant.
Butuh waktu yang agak lama buat bikin Mario sama Luigi-nya tapi puji Tuhan semua selesai tepat waktu.
Semoga seneng ya...thanks mbak Judy buat ordernya dan lontong sayurnya hehe..Mantap abisss :)

Gyarados Pokemon Cake

Ini cake challenge minggu ini. Cake bentuk Gyarados, naga di Pokemon. Terus terang aku nggak mudeng banget soal mainan Pokemon. Cari-cari info di google ( what amazing world of internet hahaha) buat cari gambarnya dan cari bagaimana bentuk bodynya.

Base kuenya chocolate cake, dicover ganache dan di cover fondant biru. Hopefully Ian happy with the cake :)

Fashionista cake set for Quenby

Ini kue pesenan Quenby buat hari ini. Dia minta ada tas chanel dan lv bag plus sepatu jimmy choo. Modelnya dia yang kasih, aku tinggal bikin hehe. Rada repot bikin sepatunya, untung sudah punya cadangan jadi cepet ngerjainnya, tinggal di beri tali-tali di atasnya. Di menit2 terakhirr Quenby minta di ganti nama labelnya jadi Christian Louboutin di sepatunya..wadoh apa lagi ini..aku nggak tahu tuh siapa hehe.. akhirnya googling deh. Tapi karena label sudah nempel dan kering, dan model sepatunya susah di kutik2 lagi, ya akhirnya tetep pake Jimmy Choo London.
Puji Tuhan akhirnya kelar juga, semoga dia seneng ya.

Banana Cake

Stephanie Alexander's Banana cake recipe
from the book " The Cook's Companion ".

125 g softened unsalted butter

1.5 cup of sugar ( i use 1 cup of brown sugar)

2 eggs

1 cup of mashed ripe banana (I use about 3 bananas)

Vanilla extract

2 cups of plain flour

1 tsp bicarb soda

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/8 tsp ground allspice ( I don't use this as I don't have it in my pantry)

1/2 cup of buttermilk

Method :

1. Preheat oven to 180 degree celcius. Grease the tin ( I use loaf tin).

2. Cream the butter and sugar until creamy and pale, then add banana, eggs, and vanilla extract.

3. Sift all the dry ingredients, and add to the batter alternately with buttermilk.

4. Pour into the tin and bake until golden or until cake test clean when put into the cake.

5. Leave the cake in the tin for about 5-10 minutes. Transfer it onto a cooling rack. Slice and enjoy..

This cake is very moist and delicious...yum yum
